This is a page about movies that I have (recently) seen and very short one or two sentence summaries about them.

  • Mission: Impossible - Fallout Once again Ethan Hunt and his team save the world by stopping terrorists with nukes from detonating them. Ooops, now I told you how it ends..

I go to the cinema for the see every Mission: Impossible movie. I like the plot twists with the masks, but the action scenes are usually top notch, too. Tom Cruise never disappoints. But I didn't really care that much this time. Of course they would win and save everyone, no question about it. Rating: 3/5
  • Mad Max: Fury Road In a post-nuclear war world a woman that is supposed to take a truck and fetch gasoline decides to go somewhere else. The leader / dicator of her city decides to go after her, but, luckily, she has help.

Wow, this movie is fantastic. I watched it twice. It's beautiful and the action scenes are amazing, but it's also a work of art. Full of depth and emotion and subtext that made me think about it so much that I wanted to watch it again to check. (And it's great how narrow escapes, those that always work in other movies, never work here.) Rating: 5/5
  • STALKER There's a restricted area that nobody is allowed to enter, because inside there is a place that will make any wish come true. To get in you need a guide. But what will you do once you reach your goal?

One of the best movies I know. If not the best. I don't really know what to write about it.. Not sure if it's for everyone though. (Perhaps you have to be interested in things like philosophy.) Rating: 6/5
